Well on Oct 20th 2002 I broke my leg paintballing here at a local field in Oregon. It's entirely my own fault, I was running up to a nice dugout with some shrubs for cover I jumped in and my left foot landed on a rock breaking my left tibia (the main bone from your knee to your ankle) at the top of the bone. I disintegrated the bone below the plateau. I needed three hours of surgery, a steel bar that runs down the outside of my bone and wraps halfway around at the top and 12 screws holding it in place. Not to mention they replaced the bone I destroyed with a dead guy's, by grinding the other bone into a paste and inserting it into the hole that used to be my bone. Three days later I ended back in the Hospital because of a blood clot in my calf that made my leg swell to enormous proportions, 3 inches larger than my right leg. Not a very comfortable feeling. I now have a 12-inch scar running down the side of my leg. About a dozen or so people came to my aid, Dan Bonebreak drove his Suburban right to me, then to the hospital with my friend following close behind.
